Inspection Reports & Findings
Our inspections are based on the condition of the vehicle at the time we inspect it.
We will report on the areas we are able to assess and highlight any obvious faults, signs of wear or concerns identified during the inspection.
An inspection cannot guarantee that a vehicle is free from faults or that future problems will not occur.
Some faults may only become apparent under different conditions, require specialist equipment or become evident after further use.
For pre-purchase inspections, we therefore recommend using the inspection as one part of your overall buying decision, alongside checking the vehicle's history, documentation and MOT history.
More Than an MOT
A vehicle inspection is not an MOT test.
An MOT is a legal test that assesses whether a vehicle meets the required minimum standards at the time of testing.
A vehicle health check or pre-purchase inspection is different. It gives you a broader assessment of the vehicle's general condition and can identify areas that may require attention even if the vehicle currently has a valid MOT.
An MOT tells you whether the vehicle meets the test requirements. An inspection helps you understand the condition of the vehicle.
